Set your own rules
Captained or bareboat, who may drive, minimum age, no-shoes, no-fishing, whatever matters to you. Every request comes to you to accept or decline.

Message the renter first, agree the details, then confirm. There is no obligation to accept anything.
The questions owners actually ask
- Does the renter fee come out of my price?
- No. You set your price, the renter pays 8% on top of it, and our 10% is the only thing deducted from your side. On a $1,000 trip the renter is charged $1,080 and you are paid $900. Both sides see both numbers before anyone commits.
- How do I get paid right now?
- Today you settle directly with the renter — we never touch your money. Card payments with immediate payouts are being built; when they launch, payouts are never held back and the fee stays 10%.
- What about insurance?
- You keep your own cover, and you need the commercial or charter policy your market requires — we do not provide insurance and will not pretend otherwise. Every market page states the local rules, and we will tell you plainly if your area requires a licence or permit you do not have yet.
- What if my boat gets damaged?
- You hold a security deposit and your own policy applies, exactly as it would for a direct charter. We are not an insurer, so we will not promise cover we cannot deliver.
- Do I need a captain’s licence?
- Only if you are carrying passengers for hire. If the renter operates the boat under a genuine bareboat arrangement, different rules apply — and they vary by country. The rules for your market are on your market page, and getting this wrong is the single most common way owners get fined.
- How much work is this?
- Realistically: answering messages quickly and being at the dock on time. Owners who reply fast get most of the bookings. If you cannot commit to that, renting out a boat will frustrate you.
- What does it cost to list?
- Nothing. No listing fee, no subscription, no charge until a trip is actually booked and paid.
