Do you need a licence?
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must carry a Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card to operate a vessel of 10 horsepower or more. Renters without one can still get on the water by booking a captained trip or bringing a card-holding adult aged 18 or older aboard.
